Till and Until

Till and until both have the same meaning. They mean up to a point in time or event.

You can use either, but till is generally less formal.

I will wait here until you get back.

I will wait here till you get back.

Till is not a short form of until, so you don’t need an apostrophe. Don’t write ’till or ’til.
