Determiners
Determiners are the little words that we use before a noun.
There are different types of determiners:

Articles
Articles are the little words ‘a’, ‘an’, and ’the’.
They can tell us whether the noun is something specific or general.
Demonstratives
Demonstratives are the words ’this’, ’that’, ’these’, and ’those’. They tell us whether the noun is something close to us or far away.

Quantifiers tell us about the quantity or amount of the noun.
Words like ‘much’, ‘many’, ‘some’ and ‘a little’ are quantifiers.
Possessive Determiners (Possessive Adjectives)
Possessive determiners, or possessive adjectives, tell us who owns the noun.
The words ‘my’, ‘our’, ‘your’, ’their’, ‘her’, ‘his’ and ‘its’ are possessive determiners.
